Keith Richards
and Mick Jagger
Mick Jagger has revealed that, like 'Sweet Neo Con,' the other songs on the Rolling Stones' upcoming album, "A Bigger Bang," are also not about President Bush.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine (no relation), Jagger shared some lyrics of one of the new songs, an update of "Beast of Burden":
I might just join ... the War on Moron.
Work for good, not for Sauron.
All I want is some justice and liberty.
"It's not aimed at Bush," Jagger told the magazine. "Not personally."
"Right," chimed in Keith Richards. "Neither is the update to 'You Can't Always Get What You Want.'"
I thought he had lost the election
He'd sunk us deep in the sand
He was practiced in the art of deception
Well I could tell by his blood-stained hands
"See, not about Bush at all," Jagger said. "Could be about anybody, really."
In related news, Steven Tyler has announced that Aerosmith's new single, "Dude Talks Like a Crazy," is not about newly appointed UN Ambassador John Bolton.
